December already?
Why do we all say, "December already?" Shouldn't we be grateful that we've made it to the last month of the year? Twelve whole months, one entire year—we’ve navigated them, battling every challenge along the way, jumping over hurdles, and now, we’re almost at the finish line of this particular race. We didn’t quit! Even when we wanted to stop halfway, even when all we wanted was to give up and escape the pain, we held on. We clung tightly to that fragile thread of hope, and now we’re almost there. Just 30 more days, and 2024 will come to a close.
Personally, I’m grateful for every obstacle life has thrown at me because, without them, I wouldn’t be here—I wouldn’t be writing this right now.
Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect? Every small decision in your daily life ultimately leads to a bigger outcome. For instance, I might decide to get coffee at 3 PM instead of 4 PM. While it might seem insignificant, it actually sets off a chain of events that shapes the future.
Every small event that has happened to me has brought me to where I am now. I might not always like where I’m going or what I’m doing at this moment, but in the grand scheme of things, I trust it will all fall into place—that’s just how the universe works.
So, what I’m really trying to say is this: “Thank you, Universe, for every opportunity and challenge I’ve faced so far. Each one has guided me to this very moment—a moment where I’m alive and truly happy.
